Brand Story
How We Ended Up Doing Only This
San Clemente EV Charger exists because charging installation stopped being a side job for general electricians and became a specialty that rewards knowing one thing deeply. Somebody who wires panels, lighting, and pool equipment all week will install a charger competently. Somebody who installs chargers all week knows before opening the panel that a particular tract in Forster Ranch tends to run out of breaker slots, that ocean-facing service equipment in Capistrano Beach corrodes at the lugs first, and that a Wall Connector configured at 48 amps on 100-amp service is going to cause a support call in August when the air conditioning is running.
Working a single trade in a single stretch of coastline compounds that knowledge fast. San Clemente is not a uniform city electrically. The hillside communities were built to modern standards with capacity to spare. The beach cottages below El Camino Real were wired for a different era, and many of them have had additions and subpanels layered on since. Treating those two as the same job produces the quote revisions and surprise upgrades that make homeowners distrust contractors, and avoiding that is most of what our assessment process is for.
What we stand for now is straightforward and slightly unglamorous. We look before we quote. We say no to installs that are not safe as specified, even when the customer would rather we did not. We carry the permit and meet the inspector, because an undocumented 240-volt circuit is a problem waiting for a home sale or an insurance claim. And we would rather lose a job by telling someone their panel needs upgrading than win it by hanging a charger on a circuit that cannot support it.
Mission Statement
What We Are Trying to Do Here
Our aim is to make getting charge-ready at home genuinely uneventful. That means an honest assessment before any money changes hands, one flat-rate number that survives to the invoice, a permit carried without the homeowner touching it, and equipment chosen for the environment it is going into rather than for whatever was cheapest that week.
We measure ourselves by what does not happen afterwards. No nuisance trips in the middle of summer. No corroded enclosure two winters later. No awkward discovery during escrow that the garage circuit was never on record. If a customer never has to think about their charger again after we leave, the job was done correctly.
Why Choose Us
Six Reasons Customers Stay With Us
We only install charging.
Specialization means the load calculation, the amperage configuration, and the manufacturer commissioning sequence are routine rather than occasional. That is the difference between a charger that works and a charger that mostly works.
We know San Clemente's housing stock specifically.
Talega, Rancho San Clemente, Forster Ranch, Marblehead, Sea Summit, Shorecliffs, and the older Riviera District streets all present different electrical realities, and we quote them differently because they are different.
Permits are carried end to end.
We file under our C-10 license, schedule the inspection, meet the inspector, and hand you the cleared paperwork. You are never asked to navigate a building department.
Certified across the manufacturers we install.
EVITP certification plus manufacturer certification on Tesla, ChargePoint, Wallbox, Enphase, Emporia, and Grizzl-E means the commissioning is done to each maker's sequence and the warranty registration is completed properly.
Coastal conditions are designed for, not discovered.
Salt air is a material factor in San Clemente and Capistrano Beach, and it changes the enclosures, fasteners, and sealing we specify on any exterior work.
Flat-rate pricing after an on-site look.
We do not quote charger installs over the phone, because a phone quote is a guess that turns into a change order. The number you approve on site is the number you pay.
